Birthday Weekend 2011
Friday, December 16, 2011 at 4:31PM Ryan and I share the same birth month-October and our birthdays fall within 2 days of each other. Since the first year we began dating our birthday celebrations have been like a mini-Christmas. We always have a "birthday weekend" a "birthday date" and a few "birthday dinners". It's always fun and something special we look forward to sharing each year. When we lived in Illinois we would go to Chicago for our big Birthday date, now we go into Milwaukee to celebrate.
This year's birthday weekend took place on Saturday, October 29, 2011. We kicked off the day by spending the morning at Mayfair Mall and doing some shopping. Then we headed into Milwaukee and walked around downtown. For dinner we at a grand sushi dinner at Benihana. To close off the evening we went to the Milwauukee ballet and Saw Dracula. It also happened to be Halloween weekend so the crowd was dressed in costume. The ballet was inspiring and the dancers were accompanied by a live pit orchestra. I never imagined that Ryan and I would become such fans of the ballet.
